There are two ways we can manage Facebook Ads.
1) Boost page
2) Run Ad Campaigns
1) Boost page
If you want to reach an extended audience beyond people who like your Page, you can boost a post or promote your Page.
Why to Boost or Promote your page?
Exposure to new audience:
You can choose who to target when you boost your posts. Facebook gives you the option of targeting people who like your Page and their friends, which puts your Page in front of all your fans’ friends as well.
- Set your budget.
You're in control of how much you spend on a boost or promotion – we'll never charge more than the budget that you select. The budget that you select is the per-day price of boosting a post. Depending on the audience and budget that you choose, you may or may not reach the maximum amount of your budget each day.
- Ensures your content is seen by the right people:
The other option Facebook gives you is to create a target audience based on gender, age, location and interests, which can expose your Page to even more new users. If you have an important message or promotion for a specific audience, boosting posts allows you to put your content in front of the right people.
Steps to Boost a Facebook Page.
Before you begin you'll need a Facebook Page. 1)Go to your Facebook Page.
2)Find the post you want to boost.
3)Tap Boost Post.
4)Fill in the details for your ad. We'll automatically use images and text from your post, but you can choose the following details:

Total Budget: Select a recommended budget or provide a custom budget.
Duration: Select one of the suggested timeframes or provide a specific end date.

- Location: - Location Targeting on Facebook simply allows us to tell Facebook the relevant geographic locations where we would like to show our ads.
Create a campaign with the Reach objective.
The Reach objective maximises the number of people who see your ads and how often they see them. With this objective, you can choose to maximise your reach or impressions for the entire duration of your campaign. You can also set frequency controls for how many times a person sees your ad and the minimum number of days between each time they see it.
To create a campaign:
For example, I am running a Startup called "Pick Naturals" which provides fresh organic fruits and vegetables to the coustmers. As my Startup is new, with the help of the Reach Campaign I will be able to reach or show my Ad as many as people possible. With this example, you will be more clear about the Campaign.
1) So you can start with creating a campaign in Ads Manager.
2) Then select the Reach objective from the above Campaigns.
3) Enter your Campaign name and click Continue.
Here, I am going to name my Campaign as "Pick Naturals Reach Ad".You can name the Campaign whichever suits to your Ad.
4)Set your Audience. To use location targeting, enter your business address to the right of Include. Adjust the radius around the location with the slider.
By selecting the audience, I will reach the people who will be interested in my Ad. As my product/ business is related to kitchen chores, for me usually the location will be the residential areas around my shop and nearby areas.
5) Select Add locations in bulk if you have multiple shops and won't want to enter a long list of addresses. You can also use the Store Traffic objective.
If you had multiple shops, this feature will be useful for you.
6) Enter any Detailed targeting you want.
In Detailed targeting you need to choose the people who might be interested in your product. As my Ad is related to food and health, now my Ad will be shown who are interested in food and health. I can also add other interests like cooking, organic, etc. This interests of audience at last depends on the product of yours.
7) Choose your Placements. If you select Automatic placements (recommended), Facebook optimise your ad delivery across Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network (video only). You can also select Edit placements to choose your own.
8) Set your Budget and schedule. We'll run your ad all the time during your campaign by default. If you want to run your ads on a different schedule, select Lifetime budget from the drop-down menu to the right of Budget. Then set your Schedule.
9) Select Show advanced options to set Optimisation for ad delivery. Choose Reach from the drop-down menu to a show your ads to the maximum number of people. Choose Impressions to show your ads to people as many times as possible.
10) Set your Frequency cap to limit how many times you want your ad to be shown to the same person and how often.
Here I can set the Frequency cap like my ad will be shown to the same person for 3 times in 7 days. Now it also depends on you to choose the Frequency cap.
11) Choose Automatic bidding or set a Manual bid amount if you know how much you'd like to pay per 1,000 impressions.
12) Select Continue.
13) Select your format. Choose from image and video ads, carousel ads and slideshow ads. You can also add an Instant experience.
14) To add a map card with directions to your business, choose the carousel format. Then go to Images and tick the box next to Add map card with your Page location.
15) Fill in text, headline and destination URL. You can also add a call-to-action button.
If you have any website of your product or service you can just put the URL there and also can add your number in the call-to-action button through which people will be able to call you as required.
16) Click Confirm when you're ready to publish your campaign.
